On Wednesday October 31,2018 our Casa 4 students dressed up in their costumes and enjoyed a Casa Halloween Dance, in the afternoon they had a classroom lunch, carved a pumpkin, coloured and played with some play dough.
The children painted their own mason jars and picked which flowers they wanted to put inside the jars. The children were happy to bring home their flowers for their families.
The children washed, peeled and cut the apples to get them ready to make apple sauce. Once the apples were cut they placed them in the slow cooker, added water, and cinnamon. The children were excited to try their apple sauce!
Casa 4 had lots of fun learning about different types of apples, how to pick them and which apples are used to make apple cider. The children enjoyed picking apples and got to visit many animals on the farm.
