The grade/level 4 and 5 students were assigned roles for the French plays at the end of March. Now they are practicing the lines in class and at home, so that they can present the plays to each other starting May 23rd. This video shows two students being sure to use good expression and voice characterization, while practising their lines.
The Grade 3 and Le3 (level3) students continue practicing a poem related to the play “Où est mon chien?”.
The French program uses a technique called The Gesture Approach to teach new vocabulary. Every new word has a specific gesture associated with it. Practising these gestures is an important part of French class and is sometimes done using different games. These pictures show a group of students trying to get a classmate to guess which word is being gestured.
