We departed Corning after a tour of the museum at approximately 3:15, and we are expecting to arrive at our hotel at about 7pm.
It’s been a nice drive through upstate New York. The scenery is breathtaking and traffic is generally non-existent.
The Glass Museum was pretty interesting, we never really stop to think about the long history of glass making, starting with the Egyptians making small vials for the Pharaohs, culminating in the Gorilla Glass that prevents my screen from cracking when I drop my phone… Often.
Looking forward to dinner at Chillis tonight. I’ve never been to that chain before, but I know of their existence from years of watching American television. Hope it’s as good as it was in the hit NBC sitcom! Maybe they’ll even have some ketchup chips!
