During the week of February 25th – March 1st, Tall Pines School will be bringing an awareness of all the different kinds of bullying that happens regularly in other schools. It is all about prevention and encouraging children to be young leaders who are kind to their peers.
Monday, February 25th
Smile for Change – Senior students in Grades 7, 8 and MJH will be enjoying a presentation by musician Preetam Sengupta (beginning at 1:30 p.m.). The theme of the presentation “Smile for Change” is accepting the differences among us and finding the joy and the gifts we all possess. We look forward to a wonderful event as our adolescents learn about growing into maturity through Preetam’s evocative songwriting.
Tuesday, February 26th
Steve will be working with our Grade 6, 7 & 8 (Including MJH) students in the afternoon beginning around 2:00 p.m.

Pink Shirt Day!!!
Full School Assembly – 1:30 – 3:00 (Parents are welcome to join us.)

Hockey Shootout and Raffle – at lunch in the gym
Under -14 Boys basketball team vs. the Male teachers – 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Friday, March 1st
Grades 3-8 Community Ski Day – at Hockley Valley
